Room Transformations

** This page is under construction. I am adding pictures, but may not link to the correct post immediately. **

You guys! This is exciting! I finally feel like I have done enough rooms to create a page to show you some before/afters of my teeny tiny house!

WOOT WOOT!

So here goes! Let's start with my $80 Kitchen Make-over

And then after I finished adding new hardware...

The dining room's had a few transformations...

The closes to a "before" that I got is above.

Then the back wall got an awesome face lift with some blue paint.

(I still miss that wall...)

But we knocked the wall down between the dining/living room, so I couldn't keep that random part blue.

(See what I mean?)

So it had to be painted.

Naturally from the dining room, we'll move on to the living room.

BEFORE:

Wow. I'm embarrassed... Like my yellow paint swatches? Obviously yellow didn't work for us....

NOW

Actually, the above photos show the gallery wall "before" I added 3 more frames.

Let's move on to the hallway.

Before:

Now:

After some stenciling, a thrift store mirror and a DIY'd dresser.

Play Room!

Before:

As "before" as I got, actually...

Now:

Actually.... there's a table there.... don't know why I don't have a more recent photo of it...

The hall bath got a $50 make-over

That's as "before" as I got (had one of those enormous builder-grade mirrors over the entire back of the sink)

The first "after"

And then I made-over the medicine cabinet

I still have 3 bedrooms and a laundry room to tackle (and am currently working on the garage), but here are some garage befores. Will update with the "afters" when... well, when it's "after"!

EW! Don't worry, I'm working on it...

    1. Where are the plans for the yellow dresser in your hallway and what is the name/brand of the color you used?

    2. Hi Maria, Thank you!!!! I didn't make plans for the dresser, just made it out of 1x8s and used curtain finials for the feet. The paint color is Hubble House Golden Maize by Valspar (spray painted it - awesome!).

That idea is so creative and resourceful! Thanks for the paint information, I love the color and will be using this idea soon!

    1. Hi Cody! Sorry for the late response, I wrote about the plant ledge here http://www.ladygoats.com/2012/04/to-be-textured-or-not-to-be-textured.html
      Hope that helps!

    1. Hi Alexis, Thanks for your question! I build the shelf from these plans - the great part is that you can get two shelves out of a sheet of plywood, so both for under $50! If you don't want to build them, I've seen them for sale at West Elm and Target.. Hope this helps!
